Future ambition: Idriss’ ambition is to inspire young people in communities to champion sustainable development. Idriss hopes to use the knowledge gained from his undergraduate studies in international relations and development to help strengthen the local economy in Burundi, and empower people to use the resources abundant in his country as a sustainable source of income.
Other Accomplishments:
- In his foundation year, Idriss received an award for ‘Most Improved Student’
- Idriss was selected to intern at the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organisation (CTBTO) in Austria. Idriss attended an international conference in 2019 in St. Petersberg, Russia, to act a delegate for CTBTO.
