James

University: University of Central Lancashire Degree Course: BSc Biomedical Sciences Expected Graduation: 2024 Internship: James plans to complete his summer internship in 2022 or 2023

Lifelong Ambition: James’ goal is to contribute to the study of diseases and how to combat them, in order to improve health outcomes in Kenya and alleviate the pain that illnesses cause. By studying biomedical sciences, he hopes to gain expertise in laboratory and research skills, so as to innovate solutions to health issues that are highly prevalent in society. James has a passion for community volunteering and says that this has only added to his desire to study diseases and their treatment. James will also be working on a project to make a social impact on the local community level in sub-Saharan Africa.
