Ashinaga year-abroad program participants trade places
28 students return, 23 depart

ˇˇThe nine members of the third China group of Ashinaga year-abroad program participants have begun life in Beijing. Following the route taken last year, the students left Kobe via the ferry Yang Jing (photo), arriving three days later in Tianjin.

ˇˇA joint training camp, which featured reports from 2009 program returnees, as well as preparatory activities for 2010 participants, was held March 6-8 at Ashinaga Kokoro Juku Rainbow House in Tokyo. Twenty-four of the total 28 returnees participated in the camp, reporting on their experiences in Uganda, China, Mexico, Vietnam, Indonesia, and India.
