Samantha Smith
Director, Ashinaga France
Samantha is a British-American dedicated to increasing access to education worldwide. She discovered her passion in high school when she founded her own non-profit that she continues to run. She was a full-scholarship student herself at Vassar College in New York, where she studied Media Studies. Samantha has been working for Ashinaga since the birth of its Africa Initiative in 2014, and has played a central role in founding its existing programs in Japan, Uganda, Senegal, England, and France. She continues to work with the directors of the Ashinaga offices around the world to develop the Ashinaga Africa Initiative.
