Keisuke Honda surged to international fame when he scored two goals at the 2010 World Cup. He was named Most Valuable Player at the 2011 Asian Cup after leading Japan to the trophy. In 2014, he was transferred to Serie A’s AC Milan and was given the number 10 shirt. During the Brazil World Cup of the same year, he recorded one goal and one assist. In July 2017 he was transferred to one of Mexico’s most successful teams, Pachuca, where he played as a striker. In 2021, he joined FK Sūduva in Lithuania. As well as being a soccer player, he is also an educator and businessman.
