Nancy D. Bodurtha is vice president of Meetings and Membership at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). In this role, she manages the planning and execution of more than three hundred events annually in New York and Washington, DC, with leading officials, experts, and opinion shapers. Ms. Bodurtha also and oversees CFR’s membership application process and member relations. In addition, she directs CFR’s Stephen M. Kellen Term Member Program for young professionals in foreign policy. Ms. Bodurtha previously held a variety of positions within CFR’s Meetings and Studies Programs. Prior to her extensive experience at CFR, Ms. Bodurtha worked with the business development group at the international law firm Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, and with Catholic Relief Services in West Africa. She holds an AB in government and comparative literature from Hamilton College and an MA in international relations from the Johns Hopkins University’s Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies.
