Lifelong Ambition: Thiery’s long-term goal is to have his own mining company, in order to explore and use mining sites in Benin and the rest of Africa. After graduating, he will work with existing mining companies to gain experience and develop networks around the world. As a result of his experiences in his past and present life, Thiery also wishes to set up an organization for the education of impoverished children in Benin.
“Most mining companies exploring in Africa are from Western countries and Asia, whereas there is a lack of African companies. Africa has a lot of natural resources and these need to be used by African people.”
