Mega is an Ashinaga Africa Initiative Scholar from Nigeria. She has always loved Japan and heard about the AAI through a family member. After successfully going through the interview process, she was excited to begin her studies in Japan. Mega is a Japanese-track Scholar, which means she will take most of her classes in Japanese. For a little over one year, Mega studied the Japanese language, and in 2020 she was admitted into a Japanese university.
