Dr. Sidi Soueina graduated with a PhD in information technology from Saitama University in Japan in 2000. He then worked as a scientist at the Motorola Laboratories in Sydney Australia for several years before moving to the USA, where he taught and did research in higher education. Sidi has done some training in product development and project management at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston USA), at mcGill university in Montreal and Northeastern University, Boston USA. He moved to Mauritania in 2014 where he is since helping to implement best practices in training, innovation and technology acquisition. Dr Soueina founded the international conference on training and tele-training technology (iC4T 2014 and 2016) and the Mauritanian Institute for innovation, training and technology transfer (MiFiTT Institute) in 2015. Dr. Sidi was elected the chair of the US Mauritania business forum in 2017. He is fluent in English, French, and Arabic in addition to the Japanese. He has authored over fifteen publications which appeared in journal and international conferences around the world.
