The Ashinaga Internship Program began in 2013 as an English teaching program for students in Japan and Uganda, enabling interns to acquire the problem-solving skills and adaptability needed in multicultural environments. Since then, the program has grown to encompass a variety of departments and functions. To date, we have had over 400 interns from over 90 global universities in several dozen countries.

In 2020 and 2021, unfortunately, we were forced to cancel the Ashinaga Internship Program in Japan due to COVID-19. To adapt to the changing working styles at Ashinaga and continue the legacy of our internship program, we decided to conduct Ashinaga’s first Remote Internship Program in Fall 2021. We were extremely heartened to have received hundreds of applications from all over the world. As a result of this positive response, we have decided to conduct a second remote internship in Winter 2022.
Internship Period: January 24th – March 18th, 2022
Application period: October 11th – November 19th, 2021
During the Winter 2022 Remote Internship Program, interns from all over the world will work virtually with teams from the Ashinaga Headquarters. They will have the opportunity to contribute to Ashinaga’s work wherever they are. The internship will be part-time with flexible hours, and various positions are available for application. Please refer to our application form linked below for detailed descriptions of the intern positions.
